ring doorbell

I have i believe a ring doorbell 5 i have lost the book, scanning internet it seems i need an AC transformer, however the transformer i bought is a Ring plug in job, but it appears to be DC .
Bit confused what is right to do as Ring do not seem to sell an AC version.
Obviously i know i could buy a third party transformer AC or DC

Most are AC. Even if you get a DC one and it doesn't work, it won't harm the doorbell.

I believe the official name for the five, is the 'Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus", and from the installation manual...

Yes all correct thats what i was seing and the back is the same with the same label, thanks, though i find it odd why Ring only seem to sell a Dc transformer which seems to be DC with unmarked spade ends when tested with a meter., it also suggests putting the seemingly unmarked positive line to the left terminal.
Some internet sites suggest bell does not work properly when connected reverse polarity but i believe they may have the Ring 2.
I thought at first maybe it actually runs on DC but has a rectifier inside to run it from there AC transformer, but no it dont work.
Enven read the transformer reviews and all were positive so i can ony assume they must have older versions of the doorbell
