ring main cable in loft

Can a ring main cable be run in loft with insulation if the cable was run in some ducting to allow air flow?
Run on 2.5mm supplying 4 bedrooms.
Length of run in loft approx 3 meters.
Can i avoid the loft? yes but if it can be run in ducting it would make life easier.

It can but there could still be de-rating factors to be calculated in.
Can the cable be laid over the top of the insulation?
If so you will be okay!
