Can anyone tell me the correct cable thickness for use in a ring main.

The cable must be rated at 66% of the breaker rateing for the way its installed, usually 2.5mm² cable is used for a 32A ring (any other rating would be a non standard arrangement) but depending on how the cable is run, you might in a few cases need 4mm²
2.5mm does it for me, thanks guys I wanted confirmation.
