Ring motion detector false alarms

Installed about four weeks ago.

Sensor in dining room (south west facing and lots of glass) has generated false alarms a couple of times, during the day only.

Couple of days ago I swopped it with the sensor in the kitchen. It is going off again today (in the kitchen and the alternate now in the dining room is not.

Do I have a faulty sensor?
