Hi

Has anyone got any feedback on the following wireless systems

Risco Agility

Honeywell Galaxy Wireless System

Are these grade 2? it will be for a residential property

Also with the NSI certification is there any problems going with a silver member compared to a gold member?

Finally most of these systems require a 3amp fused spur for the control panel to run off, should whoever installs the new system also provide a certificate as they have made changed to the electrics as per the NICEIC regulations?

Many thanks for your help

sorry i dont know about the risco one,

but we do use the Galaxy range of wired and wireless kit daily

get yourself either a G2 20 with a RF Portal, detectors etc (keypad and all the other stuff)
but remember you will not get an installtion manual with it!!!

but then you can order a FLEX 20 with all of the above, with an installation CD (this has the user/engineer manual on it)

very good and reliable kit.

Hi there,

we regularly use the visonic powermax kit as it has been tried and tested over many years by the big players in security industry causing very little false alarms and is very user friendly.

there is no difference to your insurance whether you use a gold or silver nacoss installer. you will normally find a very small reduction in the price of insurance.

with reference to the electrical certificate. any work carried out on the electrics in your home should be completed by a reputable company all of which will provide you with a certificate.

hope this helps :)

Thanks all very helpful

How does the Risco Agility compare with the Honeywell Galaxy?

I had seen a Visonic but was not so keen on the install company so have ruled that one out
