Honeywell Galaxy G2 for a Newbie

Hi,

I will be re-wiring my new house. As its back to brick I am thinking of installing the Honeywell Galaxy G2 which I believe is a hybrid system.

I installed an ESP Infinite wireless in my current house about 6-7 years ago which has served me well. It was a steep learning curve but I got the hang of it as the instructions provided were very good.

Now my real question is, how difficult is a wired part of this alarm to install. Does it come with good instructions? I will get the help of the electrician but I don't think his a big alarm installer but between us do you think it can be done.

I need about 12-14 zones and I would like to add smoke detectors to this if I can. I will also add couple of IP cameras while I am at it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Really simple. Just two resistors to add to each zone used. Plenty on here to support you with diagrams Etc. Be sure to put an Ethernet line to the panel too. There are modules for IP based connectivity and cheap monitoring on the G2.
