Well I have the use of both and I hate the electric hobs. Such a pain to cook on, either nothing is happening or it's burning.

I did think to myself maybe there will be a black market for LPG in the future and as you say, woodburner numbers will only increase as a result.

I have gone from gas to induction and found nothing bad about it.New pans yes,but speed and controllability as good as gas without POC.

They came out with that old chestnut a few years back, nothing came of it then. The gas used to generate the electricity is "special" gas that gives of no fumes?. When using a gas cooker a window should be opened, that's why you can't fit them in a room with no openable door or window to outside.
