Romo marenka gold wallpaper.anyone else had problems?

I recently had to paper a room with romo gold wallpaper and it was a nightmare.every joint showed,creased as soon as you touched it and marked with paste no matter how careful.just wondered if anyone else had used it and how did you find it?

I havnt used that one but I have hung a silver printed foil..know what you mean about creases..you only had to look at it the wrong way and it would crease!

I used a mohair roller on it instead of a brush and lined the walls..turned out fine in the end

If you havnt got lining paper on the alls is splicing the joints possible or do you have a pattern?

all walls were lined, there was no pattern match as it was a plain gold paper and splicing was just as bad as butt joints but left more paste marks.

Sound like your up against it there mate..might be too late now, but maybe yu could have left the edges overlap dry and then spliced and pasted back.

I did that with a suede one...lot of poncing about though
