roof insulation query

hi guys

can i use knauf loft insulation 150mm and 100mm thick in my kitchen and bathroom extension, to meet the required thickness of 250mm.....or does it have to be 250mm rockwool insulation as it says in my plans ?...ive been told that you can use either....cheers

If you are talking about plans that have been submitted to Building Control, it is always best to phone them and follow up by letter if you are making any changes. This can save awkwardness and possibly re-doing things later.
