Hi there....
I'm posting this on behalf of my brother. He's just moved into a house and noticed today damp on the bedroom ceiling. The roof is lined on the inside with what i think are concrete roof tiles outside.
We have traced the water to a tile which has what looks like damp slimed condensation on the inside and from that it drips. The area around is damp but i think that is from the water coming in and running down the lining.
My question is, is it plausible that the tile has failed to cause this and is there a treatment to it or is it a tile replacement job by a roofer?
Many thanks
Dougie.
