Hello,
Was hoping somone could suggest a fix for this problem - I am getting rainwater leaking into my ceiling through the boiler flue.
Seems to me the problem is a gap between the lead on the roof and the flue top itself (I don't even know what this is called, so I can't find any suitable new ones online). The water drips in between this and ends up in my ceiling.
Which is worrying me, as it is wrecking the plasterboard, and is running towards the wall too. (oh, and is right beside my consumer unit)
As you can see, someone has tried to fix it using what looks like duct tape but that seems to have given up now.
My neighbour has what looks to be a good solution, but I don't know where I can track down one of these, and how easy they would be to attach. It's got a flared bottom over the lead so the rain won't get in.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
