It looks like the roof pitch on my new extension will be 49 degrees. Getting it down to 45 degrees will compromise the design and make a number of other things awkward. Should I care?
- I'll be outside of standard span tables for rafters etc, but I can let the SE deal with that. I presume the deflection is only going to decrease anyway so it's not going to change the rafter sizing?
- My mitre saw isn't going work
Is anything else going to bite me on the @ss in this respect? Is there a point at which tiles are classed as vertically hanging and I'd need to fix every one with screws/nails?
