I have decided to take felt and battens off. double membrane and Instal soffit vents instead for ventilation. I’m gona incense membrane overlap to 250ml and lay battens so tiles have a 125ml overlap.
It’s costing me more dollar but cheaper than it leaking!!

Is that going to be acceptable to the building inspector? You need to check first.

Touch wood they haven’t been to interested in the pitch or membrane. They jus mentioned make sure I use a breathable one, I don’t think she will do up into roof void and see that Iv doubled it up. Fingeres crossed anyway!!!
I’m not completely happy it not being breathable but I’d i go up into my loft in house where it has the old fashioned felt which isn’t breathable, there’s not problems at all with timbers sweating.
