My house boat has a steel roof, dimensions 13 metres x 3.7 metres. At present, it is covered by marine ply sheeting which has rotted away in places.
The roof is cambered, the centreline is 8 cm higher than at the sides.
The present decking is secured by stainless steel bolts along the edging of the roof.
There is a skylight, 120 cm x 80 cm in the centre and a hatch 200 cm x 80 cm at one end.
I wish to replace the marine ply sheeting with a rotproof walkable surface. Any suggestions?
I can send photographs if it would further help.

My daughter has a similar wide berth boat, with similar problems. She just cut out the rot, replaced it with marine ply (she did all that herself). When she gets back from Malaysia we are going to put a new fibre glass roof on it. Will last for twenty years.
