Hi all my room thermostat has been dead for about 2 months now so today I decided to change the batteries. Brought fresh, alkaline ones as it recommended me to. The screen turned on and showed the temperature and then faded and went off. I looked at the boiler and on the screen it has the little wireless symbol still flashing so the room thermostat isn't working. I've looked at the instructions of my boiler but it tells me nothing. The model is greenstar 24i junior / 28i junior. (That's the model name on my instruction manual). I'm not sure the name of my room thermostat and don't have any instructions for it but it looks the same as the one in this image I found on Google - http://www.plumbingmaterialsuppliers.com/images/boilers/worcs_dt20_twin_channel_thermo_big.jpg
Any ideas ? Sorry for the lack of info. I'm useless with all this stuff!

Thank you. This has got me a step closer. It's as if the transmitter knows its job and wants to do it but the receiver is not connecting and the antenna symbol and 'ch' still flash. It says repeat, im about to repeat for the 5th time...

Okay I finally got it connected, thanks do much for send me the Manuel. But now I'm faced with another problem! I can't seem to control the heating from the room thermostat. I press the + to turn up the heat and it shows the flame as on but heating actually isn't on. The antenna symbol and 'ch' are no longer flashing on the receiver so it's saying it's connected. Any ideas? Thanks for the help so far!

How much are you turning it up, for example: from 20C to 21C or from 20C to 25C?

If only a small amount try a large amount. If it then fails to start there is a problem. Small amounts may be within the tolerance limit of the stat.
