can anybody tell me if i can fix the rothenberger superfire torch.gas leaking out the small hole under the ignition button .

Phone Rothenberger for advice, there was a rumour going around on here not so long ago that in some instances they'll send you a repair kit for free

They will, received one from the local rep not so long ago (met at merchants).

My Rothenberger quick fire 2 suddenly burst into flames right where my index finger locates when using it. Burnt me badly. I located a hole in this position. It is probably a pressure relief valve , designed by Rothenberger. Its a one off so when activated you need a £30 service kit from Rothenberger. This kit has all the detachable parts for the quick fire 2. I found a short , machine screw,that comes from a computer hard drive, that I screwed into this hole. That stopped it until I get the service kit. . I have 40 years in the building industry so I am OK with it . I do not recommend this for anyone else.
