Hi,

Any help would be appreciated - I have a chip in the side wall of my landing - the wall looks to be plasterboard ... the chip is about the size of a 10pm coin and is quite shallow .. the trouble is once I have filled in, sanded it etc. when someone leans on the wall, the round bit of newly inserted plaster just drops out ... any idea how to make the filler 'stick'?

Its a ready made stanley filler than im using.

Thanks

sounds like the plasterboard is lose hence why the filler keeps dropping out.
gently give the area affected a slight push,if it gives then i would find the stud/s and insert some more screws then refill.
