What is the best and easiest way to route a cable down a stud partition wall? I can drill through the first piece of wood but then there will be a noggin about half way down the wall, so how do i get past that obsticle?

if you are prepared to do some redectoration of the area in question the easiest way is probablly to find the noggin with a miniture metal detector or by tapping and lisning for a hollow sound, cut away a square of the plasterboard, notch the noggin and replace the square of plasterboard that was cut away.
