Afternoon all. After a little bit of advice if possible.

Got a Rover 25 X reg just over 60K miles. I have noticed over the last couple of weeks that the revs seem really low when the engine is just ticking over. Approx 600 RPM. It feels like its about to stall.

I once had a similar problem with a Nissan, but it had a small Philips type screw on the side of the engine which you could turn to increase the revs.

Does anyone know if there is a similar 'device' on a Rover or anything else I can try?

Thanks.
Graeme

Being a fairly new car, it is probably controlled by the ECU. Should be an idle stabilising valve there somewhere (not a clue where, sorry!) which probably needs cleaning
