RS8B PIR Sensor

My security light when activated at night remains on and does not switch off after the usual period of non movement.
I fitted a replacement RS8B PIR, but the instructions state: On switch on, set to 'Warm up mode and after a period of 30 secs it will automatically select Auto mode'
How is Warm up mode selected? It doesn't say.

You don't 'select' it. 'Warm-up mode i's simply the mode it is in for the first ~30 seconds after being powered up. After that, it reverts to 'auto' mode - which I presume means 'normal operation'.
