RSP 8000 Alarm Panel

This security alarm was in the house when I bought it 9 years ago! It has worked fine with a battery replacement a few years ago, but I have no manual and was just given a code to alarm and disarm.

Opened it up today as I had a damaged cable that needed replacing. It is dated inside as 1987. Do you think I have a chance of finding any info/manuals for this?

Any idea on the manufacturer?

An alarm panel that old is due for replacement to be truthful.

If you feel competent, you could change it for a panel which is fairly DIY friendly such as the Texecom Vertias range.

A battery a few years old is also likely going to want replacing too.

The alarm panel is unbranded - just got RSP 8000 on the front. No other identifying marks. It is eight zone with numeric pad - no LCD display.

I think it is time for a new one.
