Rubber Mats

It's a nuisance and it's dangerous the way that the rubber mat gathers up under a drivers foot.
Other than discarding the mat does anyone have an answer that they've tried and tested?
 
Many OEM rubber mats are fixed with press studs fitted into or through the carpet underneath.

I hoped Velcro would do the job.
I bought some today before I read your replies.
Got it from John Lewis and I was also looking at their press studs.

Let's hope it's a case of great minds !!!

Just to bring you up todate.

Velcro would not stick to carpet or rubber,

Also tried a small rubber mat from Wilkinsons with pointed dimples on the underside (as suggested by a neighbour). This slid around more than the original.

Might try press studs next.
