Hi,
Have just got a new freestanding cooker with glass hob. It sits between 2 units with worktops on. There is a couple of mm gap down each side.
Where can I get a rubber 'T' profile strip which fits in this gap to seal it of nicely. Seen it on other peoples kitchens so know it must exist. Guess its heatproof too?

Thanks in advance.
Phil

Hi,
thanks for the link, is that one you have used for this application?

No it just looked like what you were asking for. A google search for rubber 'T' profile strip brings up lots of them & that was the first one I looked at.

Ok thanks.
Will have to contact them for more dimensions and suitability for being near a heat source.

I know this thread is old however if I found it while searching for a remedy to the OPs problem, then I am sure someone else with the same problem will come across it in the future. This thought caused me to sign up and post this as I am a true believer in always trying to help people if you can.

While searching for a T strip to fit the annoying gaps between my stove I came across this post whose content led me to a solution which was a silicone gap cover. I purchased this from the amazon link below.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Smiths-Sili...1460129178&sr=8-2&keywords=gap+between+cooker

Hope this helps somebody with this problem in the future.

Take care
