Running 3ph motors on single phase

Found it! Here is the details for the fan and a type of controller (different to the one we have but I guess its going to be the same connections.

The link they are saying to remove is still in, would that make the fan run up but to not a very high speed??

We will double check tommorow that the controller we have is compatible with the fan, and then I believe removing that link will sort it..

Went back today and removed the link. All is good now, and put the clamp on its drawing the correct amount..

Now just got to get the idiot who connected the first one incorrectly to pay for the new fan.
