Running a mains cable for a TV

Removed the grill from the kickboard and cut the fridge cable, put a new plug on the fridge end and a two way trailing socket on the other. Bought a new piece of cable and put another two way trailing socket on one end for the telly, plug on the other, and we're cooking!
