Im currently doing a job in a very large garden. As we are digging various land drainage trenches etc they have asked me if i can run a new water pipe to supply an outside tap at the other end of the garden (about 50m in distance) the idea is, it will be there ready for the plumber to connect up to their new extension and stick the tap on the other end.

At this stage they do not have a plumber so its down to double checking with you wonderful lot!

Im intending to run a length of the blue MDPE piping. Is there anything i need to be aware of eg depths etc? Also can the connectors be used underground or is that a no no? I just dont want the plumber moaning in the future!

cheers for your help

cheers bahco, is that depth applicable even across a rear garden?
