The only way I can see to get CH into new single storey extension without digging up lovely floors is to run flow & return pipes direct from downstairs boiler cupboard (across cavity wall) a 90 bend and then through a few metres of ceiling.
It will mean drilling through all joists and part of the ceiling is a flat roof so I'll need to consider insulating the pipes as well.
Access will be tricky so thinking to use plastic pipes (Hep?). Any advice most welcome.
