Running gas hob from a gas bottle

Hi,

Need a temporary hob arrangement for a couple of weeks and was wondering whether it is possible to connect a gas bottle (from my gas bbq) to my old gas hob which is just about to be ripped (gently) out of the kitchen. Or will I need to be doing all my cooking outdoors '' on the bbq.

a gas engineer MIGHT be able to convert the hob to bottled gas if the injectors are available but i would respectfully ask you didn't try it yourself

No probs - was just an idea. Was guessing it wouldn't be easily do-able so was looking at alternatives anyway - so have managed to get hold of a little camping stove with two burners on it and a single plate induction hob. So pretty much sorted.
