Hi

My toilet cistern is continuously running. I have attached relevant photos. I have recently changed the large black washer.

Any hints or tips would be much appreciated. If you need further pics just ask.

Thanks,

Paul

Water level in cistern is now too high and going down the overflow?

The adjuster will be on the other valve in the corner, known as the fill valve.
Can you post a photo of it?

Try it without the lid on and see if it still runs then. Looks like the push button rod(s) couldn’t be pushing down slightly

Apologies for the late reply, been away.

Any debris on the seating? Cistern looks like it has silt in it.
