Hi folks,
So, for the last week I could hear running water in the pipes while sitting on the can. It was certainly not the toilet leaking.
I finally got around to checking the water meter and true as nuts, it's turning. One last-digit every minute.
I close the tap in the house and it stops. I cannot find the leak anywhere.
I've checked:
I cannot:
Question:
How can I find this leak? By the mount of water moving (judging by the dial) I expect I should see huge lakes by now. Even if it was going into the cavity wall I should see it by now? We're a week on.
I live in a normal semi. Not like I have to search the lines out to the farm buildings on the manor
I'm going to get one of those pipe-freeze kits to try isolate more and narrow it down. Good idea or bad?
Any other ideas welcome.
thanks
Crappy

I've checked:
- The dishwasher
- The boiler
- The washing machine
- The taps
- I've isolated every branch in the house I can.
I cannot:
- find any wet patches
- The leak
- Mini floods.
