Le Penn is supposed to support working with Russia, so the Macron is accusing Russia of hacking their computers and adding other stuff to make him look bad. But the other side of the coin would be that all the stuff released is genuine, so he needs to deflect the storey.

As Macron is expected to win, it's more than possible that there's some truth to what's been discovered, otherwise he wouldn't be worrying so much about what's been released.
