I have a rusted and damaged radiator valve situated on the back of the radiator and very close to the wall. Rad key wont budge it any ideas on how to bleed this rad please?
If the bleed screw is damaged, try filing the rebate end of a brass radiator key so that more of the key is over what's left of the screw. Get extra leverage by using a spanner / pliers as previously suggested.
Alternatively, you can get a special radiator key for these types. Look at BES under "radiator key" and see if you think that might do the trick.
