Rusted Threads

Hi All,

I don't have a picture unfortunately, but is there any way of cleaning badly rusted threads (protruding from a concrete base).

Theyre approx M16 so they're pretty meaty.

Shot blasting?

Run a die down them with some cutting oil or WD40:
