My least favourite boiler!

There is a leak at the connection above the pump with a silly plastic nut.

Undoing the nut, I cannot see anything wrong but then it only opens enough to see that the "O" ring looks OK.

Is it likely to be a hairline crack in the plastic body? What is the best way to get the joint apart? There is virtually no end float.

Under the nut it looks like there was a plastic spacer washer but this has been flattened and has partially squashed back out around the tube and past the plastic nut! Is this essentially to get it to become tight?

Is the pressure sensor the same as the ones used in the Vaillants?

What is the equivalent GlowWorm model?

It's been a while since I worked on one. It similar to a glowworm but the components are fitted the wrong way round to them. The pressure sensors are the same as vaillant but be careful as the plastic components have a habit of getting a pin hole near the plate connection. On the glowworm version you can just get the plastic hydroblock and use the old pump head

But do you know anything about the plastic nut and why that should leak?

I suspect there was a thick plastic spacer washer which has disintegrated and is not applying enough pressure to the sealing "O" ring ???
