S-plan pipe run for loft mounted cylinder

The cylinder has been moved into the loft and boiler is still on the ground floor, is there a clear option for where the control gear should be? I can see advantages and disadvantages to both. Thanks in advance.

My spidey senses tell me the op is referring to the location of the valves. I would put them down by the boiler.

I would leave it as it is and just extend pipework, unless there was a very good reason to move it,

Yes, sorry the OP wasn't clear. I will doing the pipe work in readiness for a boiler/ system upgrade.. The cylinder is in place, just trying to decide on the location of the valves & pump.
