Sabre 24 won’t fire up for hot water

Hi

having a problem with my sabre 24 combi boiler. Central heating is fine and so is, most of the time, the hot water.

But, every so often, it seems not to sense that I am trying to draw hot water and won't fire up. Turning central heating on and off seems to kick the hot water back into life..

Pressure when cold is around 1.2

Any thoughts?

you say sabre 24 combi boiler, there re two the Standard efficiency and the High Efficiency , they work in completely different ways with regards to HW if you dont know which one you have post a pic of all the pipes below the boiler
