Hi All,
I am making some panels with a Japanese theme, that when backed with bamboo screening will cover the fence behind my Koi pond.
I am using new planed timber. I would like to paint 2 coats of Cuprinol clear wood preserve followed by 2 coats of black Sadolin Extra Woodstain. My question is are the two products compatible?
The reason I would like to use the clear preserve is that I feel I can dribble or flood the joints without affecting the finished effect, plus the clear stuff is half the price of the Woodstain!
Any comments would be welcome.
Thank you.
