Salmon Rushdie

That's where my focus is, on the persecution of a defenceless people against the brutal zionist forces occupying their lands.

  • It is inaccurate to say Arab Palestinians lived there first.
  • Jews have lived on the land of Israel continuously for almost 4,000 years.
  • The land of Israel is the birthplace of the Jewish people. Approximately 4,000 years ago, Abraham moved to the land of Israel where he lived with his family, raised his children and purchased land to bury his wife and himself.
  • After Abraham came Isaac and Jacob. Jacob, who was named Israel by God, had twelve sons whose families became the 12 Tribes of Israel.
  • Approximately 3,000 years ago, the Jews established a monarchy in the land that includes Israel, Gaza, the West Bank (Judaea and Samaria), the Golan Heights, parts of Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.

As Mottie intimated t'other day, it's not an easy read. If you're into Harry Potter type novels, it might be easier.
There's a .pfd version you can download.
But watch out for all the other spam stuff they want you to download. It's not necessary.
Ive never read any Harry Potter, not really into fantasy stuff

According to Jewish history, but according to science Canaanites lived there before the Jews.
The Bible talks about Jews exterminating the Canaanites, among others.
It's all a matter of when you want to plant the "starting point". According to the bible Abraham moved into Canaan from Mesopotamia. Canaan was not unpopulated at the time. So one could argue that Abraham was an Arab migrant because Mesopotamia was Iraq, Kuwait, Syria and Turkey.
It's like UK arguing that Gibraltar is British because 1704 is the relevant starting point. Or that The Falklands is British because Britain acquired it in 1833.

At the end of the day, the argument about who was there first is purely academic. The real issue now is the treatment of one ethnic group by another.

Blow up children at a pop concert, it's justifiable innit.
Ironic that the libyan who did it was armed trained and supported by the UK and allowed to travel back and forth between Libya and Britain to help overthrow Gaddafi and throw the country into chaos.....(and civil war that till this very day is raging there, tens of thousands killed)....only to then use those same skills to blow up a concert in Manchester.

But you were fine as he was killing Libyans....

Israel is an occupying force thanks to a rather short war. It's regarded as such by NATO. There should be a ruling about somewhere.

Are the occupied entitled to fight back? Is one country deciding to occupy another legal? It isn't.

Trump decided Jerusalam was the capital of Israel. Why is it that it wasn't before?

Well taking just a small bit of history...

"As of 2013, the State of Israel had been condemned in 45 resolutions by the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Since the UNHRC's creation in 2006, it has resolved almost more resolutions condemning Israel alone than on issues for the rest of the world combined. The 45 resolutions comprised almost half (45.9%) of all country-specific resolutions passed by the UNHRC"

And more recently...

"The United Nations General Assembly adopted two resolutions criticizing Israel, bringing 2020’s total tally to 17 resolutions against the Jewish state versus six resolutions singling out any other country"

There is of course a reason why the Israeli government is allowed to continue it's apartheid/concentration camp behaviour in the region...

"The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has adopted a number of resolutions stating that Israel's strategic relationship with the United States, a superpower and permanent member of the Security Council with veto power, encourages the former to pursue aggressive and expansionist policies and practices in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict"

as have non-Jews (Arabs)

It is pushing the truth to say that a small itinerant tribe, moving from place to place over a long period, is entitled to claim ownership, not only of every place where their ancestors might once have set up camp, but all the land within hundreds of miles in every diection.

By the same token the whole of England belongs to Irish Travellers and their descendants, and anyone who describes themselves as an Irish Traveller even if they, their parents and grandparents, have never been to Ireland or England; and do not speak Irish or English.
