My plumber has recently replaced our 32 year old boiler with a Baxi Solo 18 HE. The old boiler was wired into a mechanical time clock that just interrupted the power supply, but this has gone tits up too. We have no other controls so just want to use the RF receiver to work with the control unit in the kitchen to time the boiler. There's no earth supply on the Salus receiver but I assume I can just connect a loop with a chocolate block inside the casing to provide earth continuity to the boiler. Looking at D Hailsham's responses can someone please advise whether my wiring diagram will work?
