Salus RT310RF thermostat with RT300RF receiver

Hi All
Finding it impossible on a Google search to find an answer.
I have an Ideal boiler with an RT300RF thermostat and receiver but the thermostat is faulty and needs replacing. The Salus web site says the RT300RF has been replaced by the RT310RF. My question, will the RT310RF work with the RT300RF receiver?

nope you need a new pair, but dont go with salus again they are rubbish

Depends on what you want to pay. Esi get good feedback on here, Honeywell are now so-so depending on which you fit, then there’s smart ones, so hard to recommend specific brands etc.

As @Chris_W says ESI seem to be pretty reliable and are cheap enough I have fitted a few Centre brand and no problems, but would never fit another salus total crap and absolutely no back up, dont go for these useless chianes units on ebay they are £25 for a reason
