Samsung A12 Virus

1. Find "Factory data reset"
  1. Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.
  2. Press the settings icon.
  3. Press General management.
  4. Press Reset.
  5. Press Factory data reset.
  6. Press Reset.
  7. Press Delete all. Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.

I finally managed to get the phone into safe mode and uninstalled the rogue QR code apps. All is well now.

How did u do it in the end

I tried safe mode using the buttons but no logo would come up.
For some reason as the battery run down to about 30% the buttons worked.
All ok now and dodgy QR code apps uninstalled and phone now working ok.
Hopefully no harm done. ;)
