Hi,
Our washing machine started banging on spin cycle at the weekend.
Ive had a poke around and the fault seems to be the inner bearing. Ive made that assumption based on the following:-
-Drum rotates smoothly and quietly by hand
-belt and spider all seem ok
-Slight play between inner drum and outer when applying pressure by hand
-Signs of worn plastic inside the rubber drum seal.
What are your thoughts on replacing the drum?
Local repairman says repair not worth the cost, but i think i could do it myself given some help on picking the correct parts.
Thanks in advance
