i have a cold water fed sytem which over time has made the showers run so slow is barely worth trying.have replaced shower carts at great expence but after looking more closely the flow does not seem to be there....help anyone

You need to have the dynamic flow rate in to the property measured !
Only then can anyone assess if the problem is the supply capability or ths unvented installation.
Under the Building Regulations an unvented is meant to be serviced anually! And only by a suitably qualified person who has to have passed an accredited assessment.
