Sash window removal

As cash is short I have to refurbish my sash windows but how to remove
the upper section I cant see - if I raise the lower to give acess to the
balance weights and fix a pull through to the cord to help refitting
will this work? if so and having removed the lower will the method for
dealing with the top one become clear??

vers - use the search facility on the Forum for "sash windows" or "sash window repairs" ... there's been a ton of stuff posted on repairing them; I've posted at least 5 times on how to do it.
