i'm thinking about buying a sat nav off ebuyer for £46, do these things tell you when your approaching a speed camera, or is it just flagged on the screen.

they can be set to sound an alarm when a set distance from a camera. Mine( a garmin) also beeps when I get near to exceeding the speed limit.

my cheapo binatone, whislt being a good lil satnav, the speed camera is a pay option, you get 6 months free, during which time it bongs and flashes up on the screen, after that you pay for that, but it does keep the icons on the screen.
