scaled up Unvented cylinder

Does anyone know a way of removing scale from the bottom of a Santon Premiere Plus 210 litre direct cylinder (2 x immersions)?

I believe the bottom is so full of scale that it's restricting the end of the pipe supplying the cold water to inside the cylinder.

I thought I'd remove the bottom element and do it by hand but don't think my hand will fit through the hole.

Any suggestions would be welcome !

Lower immersion element out, aquavac hose in, should get most of it.

This sounds very unlikely, just wondered if you checked the inlet filter on the combi valve first?

combi valve is fine, there is a cold water take off just after the combi valve and flow & pressure is fine on all cold outlets. - Hot outlets are a different story though!
