Scalewatcher

We live in a hard water area and I've been thinking about fitting a Scalewatcher device to reduce limescale.

I've looked at a few previous posts on the Forum but it still seems unclear whether they really do work.

Has anyone got any experience of them - any views on whether they are worth the money. They are not cheap - around £240.

That££ is halfway to a GUARANTEED (ion exchange) water softener ie. garanteed to soften water as long as you put salt in it

Rip-off price. Similar products can be bought for well under £100. No convincing evidence that they work, afaik.
