Scantronic 9651 house alarm

We have a scantronic 9651. We have setting A that sets the whole house when we leave and setting B that sets just downstairs when we go to bed. We want to make a new setting on setting C that allows us to set just downstairs and leave the house so we can leave our new kitten upstairs. Can anybody help?

Errr have you tried B setting ....? If not then do you have the engineering code ?

Yes we tried the B code but it doesn't set when we leave the house. Where will I find the engineering code?

You would be better getting the installer back in to set it up for you ...
