I am looking to upgrade/replace my old Gardtech wired alarm system with a Scantronic i-on 30 or 40 hybrid wired-wireless system to make use of some of the existing detectors. There seems to be several used panels on ebay at very reasonable prices. Has anyone had any experience in buying a used panel. I assume these to be just upgrades but never bought a used panel myself. Thanks

Not a fan of the i-on and don't fit them so have little dealings with them full stop.
wired devices will work on most wired systems, subject to wiring types available within the existing devices and those of the new panel.
