scantronic i-on40 web server 'Save Config' problem

I have access to my newly self-installed i-on40 via the web server and I can make changes, etc. The one problem I have is that I am unable to save the config to my laptop via the Backup tab. I am using Firefox, and have tried IE. With IE I get a message of an 'error on the page'.

I have 'config__6_12_2013_2134.txt' in the file name box, but clicking the 'Save Configuration' button does nothing.

Any thoughts, suggestions, please?

Thanks, but SP3 is 'Service Pack 3'; the latest for XP Pro, with all the latest updates. Also, not the firewall, anti-virus or script blocking.
